CMD is a product development company and as such we strive to take advantage of any emerging technologies that may benefit our clients. The above image is an example of one of those technologies, a nanocomposite with a reinforcing material of zinc sulphide nano tetrapods. The greatest advantage of composite materials is strength and stiffness combined with lightness. The right composite materials show superior resistance to heat and corrosion- making them ideal for use in extreme environments.
