Blow Moulding

Blow moulding is a manufacturing process in which hollow plastic parts are formed, and is used predominantly within packaging industries. Generally speaking, there are three main types of blow moulding; Extrusion Blow Moulding, Injection Blow Moulding, and Stretch Blow Moulding, each are selected depending on the final product application.
The materials used in these processes vary, however the most common is PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). Tooling and part costs for this manufacturing method are comparable with Injection Moulding.
