In 2004, this high performance weighing and controlling digital indicator, Rinstrum R500, was awarded a Design Award (Business and Technology) for its innovative versatility in form and functionality.  The R500 is a powerful weighing processor and batching controller, that provides several major innovations previously unseen within the precision instruments market. Not only is the Rinstrum R500 an interface and controller for weighing logistics, but can be used as a central control point for machinery and automated factory tasks, making it unrivalled amongst its competitors.

The Rinstrum R500 was also a recipient of a DIAQ Queensland Design Award.
